Dr. Cohenca began his academic career as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Trauma and Sports Dentistry at the University of Southern California (2003–2005). He then completed his Endodontic Certificate at the University of Washington in 2008, where he later served as a tenured Professor of Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry until 2014.
From 2008 to 2024, Dr. Cohenca also served as Professor and Director of Endodontics at Seattle Children’s Hospital, leading the multidisciplinary traumatology unit and specializing in complex dental trauma cases referred from across the region.
In 2019, Dr. Cohenca founded Prime Endodontics, a private endodontic practice committed to delivering the highest level of root canal treatment and dental trauma care. The practice is grounded in evidence-based science, modern techniques, and a strong emphasis on patient education and trust.
Today, Dr. Cohenca continues to advance the field as a Professor at the University of Washington, while proudly serving patients and referring dentists at Prime Endodontics. His extensive experience makes Prime Endodontics a trusted destination for specialized endodontic care in the Seattle area.
